Guide & Tips

Stable Diffusion prompts can be used as part of your character's description. Use them in the character description box or the new image prompt box; don't use negative prompts.
The character generator autosaves anything you add or change using your browser's localStorage.
Import a character card by dragging and dropping the file into the picture box or use the import buttons.
You can also change the image by drag/dropping into the image box.
Export your character to PNG to maintain full compatibility with RPGEgo using the export buttons. You can use exported cards with chatbot apps like:
- Character.AI using the C.AI Tools web browser plugin.
- SillyTavern
- KoboldAI Lite
- Text Generation WebUI
You can also export to JSON to use in other tools that uses the V1/V2 Character Card template.

For now, dialogue will no longer output the user: and char: curly braces format and will output names. It will be up to you to manually edit.

Fixed a bug where random names were returning with "Please provide a description of a character."
Generating random character descriptions should now properly randomize gender identities. Send me feedback on this.

Limitations / Known Bugs

This tool is designed so you can only work on one character at a time in a browser. Avoid trying to work on multiple characters with multiple tabs under one browser. Instead, use multiple different browsers or export/import characters as needed.
Avoid using big image files (>5MB). Your browser's localStorage will probably have an issue.

Responsible Use

You agree to use RPGEgo responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. While RPGEgo allows for creative expression, you must not misuse the tool, including but not limited to:

Generating any illegal content, including content that promotes violence, hate speech, or contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Circumventing any guardrails, protections, or guidelines implemented in the tool.
Harassing or abusing the platform, its features, or its users.
Circumventing guardrails and filters in place.

Any violation of these terms may result in an abuse report to your internet service provider and involvement with law enforcement authorities.

Creating Original Content

RPGEgo allows you to create unique characters and descriptions through its AI-powered tools. While RPGEgo facilitates the generation of these characters and descriptions, the creativity of the content belongs to the user. By using RPGEgo, you agree to the following:

You are responsible for ensuring that the characters and descriptions generated do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
You must refrain from using RPGEgo to create content that violates copyright, trademarks, or any other legal rights of third parties.

Ownership and Licensing of Generated Content

Ownership: You retain ownership of the characters, images, and descriptions generated using RPGEgo. The content you generate is yours to use, share, and distribute as you see fit, in accordance with applicable laws.
Non-Exclusive License to Prompts: By using RPGEgo, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and use the prompts you submit for the purpose of running, improving, and maintaining the RPGEgo service. This includes analyzing prompt data and trends.

NSFW Mode and Adult Content

RPGEgo includes an optional NSFW Mode that relaxes content generation guardrails and allows for the creation of adult-themed characters or descriptions. By enabling NSFW Mode, you agree to the following terms:

You are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and are legally permitted to view adult content.
You understand that enabling NSFW Mode may result in the generation of content that is explicit in nature, and you agree to use this mode responsibly.
You will not attempt to circumvent the guardrails or restrictions in place.

RPGEgo strictly prohibits the generation of any illegal content, including but not limited to CSAM, violence, or any other form of content that violates applicable laws.

Prohibited Uses

Users are expressly forbidden from using RPGEgo to:

Generate content that is illegal, including but not limited to content related to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), violence, harassment, or hate speech.
Circumvent any technical or usage guardrails established by RPGEgo to protect the platform and its users.
Use the tool for any purpose that violates the law or the rights of others.

Violations of these prohibitions may result in an abuse report to your internet service provider and involvement with law enforcement authorities.

Changes to the Terms
